Recently, SCA jr. high and high school students competed in the ACEL Fine Arts Festival at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. The day consisted of a variety of academic and fine art competitions.

Our students represented our school extremely well. Our choir, band, girls quartet (Heidi, Aubrie, Mikayla, Scout), boys duet (Brayden, Daniel), and Braeden (Irish drum solo) all earned a superior rating. Daniel (impromptu speech), Jessica (photography), and Michaela (photography) earned an excellent rating.

The girls quartet won best overall small ensemble, Aubrie won second place in the spelling bee, and Daniel, Brayden, Heidi, and Aubrie led our team that took 1st place in the Bible Bowl!

We're thankful for all of their sweet spirits as they performed for the Lord! It was an exhausting day, but one that was worthwhile as an investment in the lives of our students!
