Show a Foster Child the Love of Christ

November 14, 2016

As the holiday season is arriving, expectations in these young hearts are rising. For most of the children in foster care, Christmas has never meant much, since they have not had a family to celebrate with or a toy to look forward to.  Christmas should be full of the joy and love that Jesus brings.

The classes of Southland Christian Academy will be sponsoring 14 children from Livingston Parish Department of Children & Family Services for Christmas this year.  Please help us to share God's love with these children.  We are asking families to pray for these children, to purchase items from their wish lists, and/or to send in a financial donation. Your generous gift will help provide a child with a Christmas memory many of us take for granted.

To get involved, please contact the school office.  All items purchased and financial donations are due by Tuesday, November 29, 2016.  These families will be blessed to know they are loved by caring people like you.
